Umbraberries

Umbraberries are a type of berry that is found in southern Arak in dense, dark forests. It has a very dark, navy blue appearance, and the insides are completely matte, reflecting no light. When eaten, a few are enough to dye the inside of your entire mouth and teeth a dark black for several days. However, eating even a handful can cause your vision to dim for a few days as the berry's pigmentation is absorbed into your blood. When eaten in large quantities, they can blind you for a week or more and lead to dizziness and extreme nausea. They have an initial sweet taste and a very bitter aftertaste.

They are used in the production of some specialty wines, as well as Void Silk. Their completely matte insides can be used as a paint to create a camouflage in certain environments -- though it can take days to wash off and is not water soluble. Additionally, if you mash the berries and then ferment them for a few weeks, you can blend them with oils to create a dye that is used to create Void Silk.
