Bazelsteen Lazar von Ghushendorf

Bazelsteen Lazar von Ghushendorf is a name that has been passed down through generations of wizards as the founder of the Common language. According to legend, Bazelsteen was born in a small, isolated village in the mountains of Aelluros, where he spent his early years studying the arcane arts. He was a prodigy, able to master even the most complex spells with ease, and it wasn't long before his fame began to spread.   As he traveled across the land, Bazelsteen realized that the various races and cultures of Aelluros were unable to communicate effectively with one another, which often led to misunderstandings and conflict. Determined to find a solution to this problem, he began to develop a new language, one that would be easy to learn and widely adopted. This language eventually became known as Common, and it quickly spread throughout the land, bringing the different races and cultures together.   Bazelsteen's legacy as a great wizard and linguist lives on to this day, and many of his teachings are still studied by aspiring wizards. His Comprehend Languages spell is one of his most famous creations, allowing wizards to understand any spoken language, no matter how obscure or ancient. It is said that he also created a number of other powerful spells and magical artifacts, though their true nature and whereabouts remain shrouded in mystery.   Despite his many accomplishments, Bazelsteen was not without his detractors. Some claimed that his efforts to unite the various races of Aelluros were misguided, and that he was inadvertently contributing to the loss of individual cultural identities. Others accused him of seeking power and influence through his creation of the Common language, and there were even rumors that he was in league with dark forces.   Regardless of these criticisms, however, Bazelsteen's impact on Aelluros cannot be denied. Thanks to his efforts, the various races and cultures of the land have been brought closer together, leading to greater understanding and cooperation. And his contributions to the field of magic have paved the way for countless other wizards to follow in his footsteps, using their skills to shape the world around them.
