Umbris

(a.k.a. The Smith, Ubris)

Umbris, the great Forge God, is one of the oldest and most revered deities in the pantheon. According to legend, he played a key role in the creation of the mortal plane and was responsible for the birth of many of its inhabitants. Among his greatest achievements was the crafting of the dwarves, a race of skilled artisans and warriors who continue to honor him to this day.   Dwarves and warforged alike are devoted to Umbris, seeing in him the source of their own great skill as craftsmen and smiths. It is said that the dwarves were made in his image, and that their remarkable talent for creating beautiful and powerful objects is a gift from the Forge God himself.   During the bloody war against the vampires, the dwarves called upon Umbris for aid, beseeching him to breathe life into their creations, the Warforged, and imbue them with the power to vanquish their enemies. The god answered their prayers, granting the Warforged the gift of life and the ability to fight as fiercely as any living being.   Although Umbris typically keeps to himself and does not involve himself in the affairs of mortals, he occasionally intervenes when the need is great. It is said that the god aids in the creation of powerful weapons and armor, imbuing them with his own fiery essence and allowing his followers to smite their foes with unparalleled force. Many legendary weapons and artifacts from the Heart of the Mountain and The Abyss are said to have been forged with the indirect aid of Umbris, making him one of the most important deities in the pantheon of heroes and warriors.   For those who seek to master the art of crafting, Umbris is a revered and respected figure. His divine domains of artifice, fire, knowledge, runes, and protection reflect his commitment to the creation of beautiful and powerful objects, and his followers continue to honor his legacy by pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of mortal craft                               art source: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/399483429440609620/
