Glimmerstone Forge

Overview

Run by the dwarven blacksmith Thrain Ironbeard, Glimmerstone Forge is renowned for crafting exceptional magical weapons and armor. The forge is famous for its distinctive glowing gem inlaid into each masterpiece, a symbol of the craftsmanship's quality. This forge will not make weapons for just anyone and weapons here do cost a pretty penny.

Purpose / Function

To craft the finest weapons and armors in all of Sylvalore. The Ironbeards have been blacksmiths as long as dwarves have loved the mountains and have owned a form of the Glimmerstone Forge for just as long. Crafting exceptionally better and better weapons is what drives all Ironbeards alive today.

History

Since the dwarven ancestors who originally resided in the Durakurad Mountains, there has always been an Ironbeard whose purpose in life was to create the absolutely most exceptional weapons and armors around. The original Ironbeard who opened the first Glimmerstone Forge named it so due to being known for always having to inlay a beautiful glimmering gemstone in every crafted item he crafted. The artform of gem inlaying in weaponry and armor has been passed down to every next of kin who takes over ownership of the Glimmerstone Forge.
