Herr Haltigg

Herr Haltigg is a steward to the throne of the Hinterlands.
Once a Duke of northern borderlands of the Hinterlands, when the King died defending his lands against the orkish raider, Herr Haltigg was elected as steward in the Reichmoot.
when no king sits upon the throne of the Hinterlands, a council of the dukes meets every ten years to elect a new king in a tradition known as the Reichmoot. it has been nearly twenty years since the king died, in the last Reichmoot, no clear majority was reached to place Herr Haltigg upon the throne, now he is maneuvering to ensure nobody will stand in his way.
