A Secret order of the church charged with finding lost ancient relics and magical items and bringing them back to the chpater house for safe keeping and study.
the Ordo Cognitos was established around the same time as the official creation of the church in 50AF, its oparative are usually children with special gifts that would otherwise mark them out as dangerous.
