King Hafiz Basaran (a.k.a. Hafiz the Cruel)
Second child of Ridvan Basaran III and Cami von Lamalet
Killed his older brother Ridvan IV when Ridvan attacked him and became the new heir to the throne. Prior to this he had been the most normal of the children sired by Ridvan and Cami, but he was greatly traumatized by killing his brother. He went on to be one of the most violent, cruel leaders Fainarr has ever known, even going so far as to perform many executions himself in unsanctioned ways. He took well to his late great-grandfather's dragon, Igrenax, even as a child. The two were incredibly destructive together during Hafiz's reign.
