Mere minutes after his birth, his twin brother Ymir was born. Technically the eldest son, his inheritance of the Kingdom of Khovir was assured, while his brother's was not. The twins waged a long and bloody war against the king of Obmir, their cousin, for the throne. Raldir helped place Ymir on the throne of Obmir, and now the twin kings rule twin nations. However, the question of hierarchy and respect have led to an uneasy feeling between the two kings. Raldir openly speaks as though he is above his twin, having seating him on the throne, and expects this to be taken into account in any disputes or collective decisions between the nations, such as the potential for war in the south.
