War of the Oaklands

Nouvemond grew ever more offended by Hrastgar's presence, now to the point of war.

Claiming the lands' resources were thin enough to share and that their barbarian attacks had to be stopped at all costs, Nouvemond declared open war against their neighbor, Hrastgar.   This war would drag on for years, to the point when the people began to wonder what was the point of it all; some even left Nouvemond to flee the conflict. The war ended with The Pact of the Oaklands.
