Culture and Cultural Heritage
Aasimar are born either when an aasimar has a child with another person or when a god chooses a child in the womb to be one of its champions. As such the aasimar do not really have a culture of their own and instead take on the one they were born into.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
Aasimar are expected to follow the will of their god. Aasimar are still mortals though, with their own sense of free will, which leads some aasimar to resent their powers and god.
Common Taboos
The greatest taboo for an aasimar is to forsake one's god. To do so is to reject one's reason for existence and those that do lose their angelic forms and become fallen aasimar, taking on the aspects of the cold and dark.
Historical Figures
An aasimar of Athena, named Aaliyah Shadid, led the mortal armies against the Incursion.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Aasimar are generally welcomed wherever they go as there is the expectation that they will bring protection and aid. Fallen aasimar are looked upon with general distrust, though not necessarily hostility.
