Dragonborn value skill and excellence in all endeavors. They hate to fail, and they push themselves to extreme efforts before they give up on something. A dragonborn holds mastery of a particular skill as a lifetime goal.

History

When the Incursion first struck the world of Aerenal the dragons knew that left unchecked the demonic scourge could threaten even them. Despite this they were still reluctant to leave there home to aid the fragile mortals. It was then that they had the idea to grant aid with minimal risk or interference on their part. One dragon of each color was sent to the continent of Aerenal to find a group of mortals each to gift a clutch of eggs for them to care for. When the eggs hatched a new, stronger type of mortal was born, the dragonborn.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

The dragondorn have assimilated almost seamlessly into the greater culture of the Mortal Kingdom and, much like humans, can be at home almost anywhere. Upon meeting them for the first time the other races do have some initial difficulty making out expressions on their dragon-like faces.
