Culture and Cultural Heritage

Orc culture is extremely warlike and when not at war the race is usually planning for it. Most orcs approach life with the belief that to survive, one must subjugate potential enemies and control as many resources as possible, which puts them naturally at odds with other races as well as themselves.
Orcs are extremely devoted to their chosen god, usually a war god. They believe that all other races are inferior to them and that waging war upon them will please their god.

History

The orcs were once a more plentiful race and waged a great war on the peoples of the Mortal Kingdom. At the start the had great success, but then the other races rallied together and fought back. The Navy was also brought in, which was at that time headed by an elven man named Gael Linattar, the only elf to ever hold a position in the Navy outside the Elven Kingdom. The orcish forces were pushed back and decimated and their numbers have still not recovered enough to be them same threat they once were.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Orcs look down on every other species and tend to react violently upon seeing a member of another race. They often send raiding parties into settlements.
