Squad Leader Arafell Airwind (a.k.a. Quack)
Squad Leader Arafell Airwind, nicknamed Quack by fellow soldiers due to a minor incident involving way too many enemies, a pond a little bit too shallow, a couple of broken bones and a suspicious sound. Maybe the fact the she resurfaced from the pond with ducklings following her could have an incidence, but alas, the nickname stuck to her. So since this time, every time their leader enters an establishment where the squad is, you can hear loud voices yelling some variation of a “Quack is here, lads !”.
Although Arafell is young, she has had her fair share of experience in battle as she joined the army as soon as possible at the young age of 7. Since then, the 20 years passed into the military has taught her how to be polite and respectful. She’ll also never leave anyone behind since one of her dearest friend saved her life in the battlefield when he came back for her on her baptism of fire. It’s normal he said to her while dying, everyone freezes the first time when encountered with pure evil, and he made her promise to leave no one behind.
