Aerion's calendar system was taken over from the original system before the Tear. Even though the pocket dimension is not having their own planets and moons effecting it, the Elderin are emulating the effects of the planet with magic, so that Aerion can still follow normal seasons, moon phases and the tides.

The four seasons of Aerion are called the Season of Awakening (Spring, Air), Season of Growth (Summer, Fire), Season of Harvest (Fall, Earth) and Season of Rest (Winter, Water). While summer and winter each last three months, spring and fall only last for two month each.

Each week consists of 10 days. Every month has 3 weeks for a total of 30 days, as long a single moon cycle lasts. The days of the week are simply named Firstday, Secondday, Thirdday, Fourthday, Fifthday, Sixthday, Seventhday, Eighthday, Ninthday and Tenthday.
