Xan Yae
Xan Yae is the goddess of Balance and Death. The Patron of monks, she embodies strength of will and the ability to be preparde for life's changes. Xan Yae stands at the doorway of Light and Darkness, Opposition and Purpose. She teaches her followers that logic must be present in emotion and that calm mind is ready to face the future. Though not prone to outbursts of emotion, Xan Yae deeply cares for her people and often will speak directly to her high clerical monks and impart her wisdom. She is also known to offer guidence to indviduals who face a crossroads in life, helping them to come to their own decision with a clear mind and prepared body.
Though Balance is Xan Yae's primary domain, she is also the goddess of Death and the usher of the afterlife. Death is perhaps the scariest and most unknown part of a mortal's life, thus Xan Yae has taken it upon herself to be there at the moment of their end and hold their hand into the unknown. Xan Yae teaches her followers to be unafriad of death and to be compassiaonate to those who are, espescially to her monks who handle barial rituals throughout Aerios. The goddess also acts as the guardian to the after life, making sure destiny is fullfilled and no one cheats death, for death is the Balance to life.

Tenets of Faith
The teachings of Xan Yae are of discipline and preparedness. In all things, Xan Yae wishes for her followers to have a mind and body ready for all types of change so that they may stay grounded in faith despite turmoil.
1. You are of Twilight, neither the darkness nor the light can change you.
2. In the night, be a shadow, in the light be a lotus.
3. Death is nothing to fear, for all petals must fall so the seeds of the lotus may be born anew.
4. A Disciplined mind cannot be easily shaken.
5. A Diciplined body cannot be easily destroyed.

Holidays
The Song of Reflection
The end of the year is a time to quiet one's mind and contemplate their life. On the day of reflection, the Monks of Twilight lead people in a quiet chant that helps to guide the mind into a considerate meditation. The chant is a day-long affair and people may join at any time. At the end of the meditation, one awakens with a quieted and more sober mind of their past and future, prepared to begin the next year anew.
The Grand Competition
Every 4 years a grand competition of body and mind is held, alternating between winter and spring. Friendly competitive games are held for all categories of aptitude, such as mental puzzles, strength testing, and foot racing. The best of each category are honored and blessed by Xan Yae and is given titles and money by the monks. The only rule is that no magic or technology is allowed to be used by competitors as the games are about one's own physical ability. The event lasts the entirety of the season and the game correlates to the season they are being played in, for example, foot racing in the spring and snow sliding in the winter.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Much like Mystra, Xan Yae has few goals outside her purview of discipline. She has no patience for laziness or for impotence, she believes a body and soul in harmony can accomplish anything it desires.
Her only true goal is the eradication of Lolth and her followers who embody chaos and lust. Xan Yae directs her monks to seek out and destroy representations of her rival and to convert or kill Lolth's followers.
