Hardfoot Manor

This secluded manor, nestled deep within the sun-kissed western mountains of Tamre, is a relic of a bygone age, magically preserved since the Sundering. Once the abode of the esteemed cleric Ja’acob Hardfoot, advisor to the crown, the manor stands as a testament to both dwarven craftsmanship and the enduring power of faith. Its wooden frame, though weathered by time, exudes a sturdiness that belies its age.

Within its walls, secrets abound. The study, a cavernous chamber filled with ancient tomes, is a treasure trove of knowledge on history, magic, and religion. A hidden chamber, accessed through a secret passage in the downstairs bedroom, houses the enigmatic Great Machine, an amalgamation of magic and technology from before the Sundering. Below the manor's chapel, a stone-lined crypt serves as the final resting place for revered clerics.
The manor is more than a mere structure; it is a sentient guardian, its magic intertwined with the very fabric of its being. It communicates through subtle manipulations of its environment, providing for its inhabitants with an abundance of food and comfort. When threatened, it becomes a fortress, its defenses as formidable as its nurturing nature.

A watchful presence oversees this enchanted domain: A’aronomyst, the world's last remaining dragon, bound by an ancient pact with Ja’acob Hardfoot. The great beast waits, its eye attracted by the approach of those destined to continue the cleric's quest for the Three, as foretold in his prophetic work, "The Crossing of Swords."
