Alton's wife was taken and killed by Gnolls on a trip down to the Lake of Battered Helms, leaving him to raise their daughter on his own. He is a melancholy Halfling that does his best to remain cheerful in the presence of his young daughter. Alton used to take more pride in his heritage, but his interests have waned of late. Others in the borough have taken to regaling his daughter with stories of their noble past.
