Calderwood

Calderwood is a Human village located south of Meadowspring and north of the Lake of Battered Helms. It is run by Matilda Evenhand, an ex-Paladin of Curceon who originally hailed from Essillion. She relocated to Calderwood to take up the simple life of farming and comfort. Her rest was short lived though as the town was attacked by some Gnolls and she was forced to organize a militia. Her tactical acumen brought victory and the people of Calderwood named her the leader of the town. She has been at its head ever since as the village elder. The children of Calderwood love the stories she tells and a large number of adventurers per capita come from there.
