Clarity Cut Combine

The few Dwarves that live in the Ice Peaks have made a good living off of the ore and gems (Ice Diamonds mostly) but they have a very hard life. There is no permanent Dwarven settlement as they have to move often to avoid the Frost Giants and other hazards, but they have formed an organization called the Clarity Cut Combine. The Dwarves are made up of both Earth and Stone Dwarves and they have an Overseer for their settlements. It can change from time to time, but the Dwarves do not really take much stock in who is running the operation, as long as they are profitable and can survive. Individual Dwarves can make quick decisions for the security of the whole group and often do. They have more important things to worry about than who is in charge...like surviving.

Structure

Led by an Overseer, to ensure everyone is doing their job. The position can change as is needed, and each member is expected to pull their weight equally.

Culture

Survival is the most important thing. Working together ensures survival. The harsh life of the Ice Peaks of Pierion require adaptability and hardiness. The weak get left behind.

History

A group of northern Dwarf miners who knew that to survive they had to work together. The lure of the Ice Diamonds of the frozen tundra to the north was too great, but so was the danger. Their loose but effective operations helped secure their place in the north.
