Rainbow Elk were once winged elk created and used by the Avariel . After their civil war ended these noble steeds lost their wings but continued to serve the Elves of Brightbough . Their celestial nature continues to set them apart from their normal beast cousins.

Sure-Footed: The Rainbow Elk has advantage on strength and dexterity saving throws to avoid being knocked prone.
Forest Movement: The Rainbow Elk ignores non magical difficult terrain, as well as all difficult terrain from plants.
