Scar of Fire

The Scar of Fire is a massive volcano in the central region of the Barrier Guard of Denethen. It erupted from the mountains during the Rising and acts like a portal to the Elemental Plane of Fire. Along with the Scar of Fire came the Efreet city the Golden Dome of Pyrez, that exists under the volcano itself. The Scar of Fire has come to mean the area around this gate, but the actual volcano itself was originally called the Scar of Fire when it first erupted. It frequently erupts, and always glows with red hot lava.
