Silverthorn

Silverthorn is a small Halfling village located near Snakepass Chain and at the foot of Silverhearth, the Earth Dwarf city near the pass. It is on the western side of Silverthorn Forest, with a path that leads to Silverhearth on the east side of the forest. Silverthorn and Silverhearth are very closely allied and it is said that they both hold the keys to the other’s domain. Those coming from Silverhearth pass through the forest and out of Silverthorn, and the reverse is true for those entering the mountains from that side.
Mayor Harol Fastfoot used to be a scout for the area, taking messages back and forth between the Halflings and the Dwarves, where he developed a strong relationship with the Dwarven city of Silverhearth. The two cities were already allying but Harol’s gregarious and welcoming manner have strengthened the partnership greatly. He was so effective, in fact, that they made his mayor of Silverthorn for as long as he wants to keep the position. He loves to travel still so he will make the trip to Silverhearth as often as he can, but at minimum he will travel into Silverthorn Forest once a week to keep his skills sharp.
