Tkk’tkaak

The Thri-Kreen have a small presence in the PuKtan but it is still impressive what they have been able to accomplish there. The central village of Tkk’tkaak has been around for centuries, surviving the incursions of Undead, Barbarian tribes, and Goblin attacks. They have been able to survive near the Scarred Lands of the Witch Queen, and they can withstand the poisons of the nearby lake. This village is situated southeast of Hope’s Oasis and right near the border of the Beleaguered Lands. The Thri-Kreen normally wander the desert scavenging and looking for food, but they have established this one village as a way stop for their wanderers.
In recent times Melchinoopo has determined that the Thri-Kreen are to be left alone for they have endured the attacks and decay of the Undead and they help to keep those forces at bay. As Melchinoopo is desperate to gain any advantage over the Witch Queen’s forces his orders are to be strictly obeyed. The Thri-Kreen of the area care little for what outsiders think or want but they are happy to enjoy the benefits of one less predator to their village.
