Brightbough

Brightbough is home to the largest collection of High Elves on all of Starhelm. The Elves of Brightbough, both High and Wood, work together very well, in spite of their differing methods of living. The King and Queen have ruled well for a long time, but they are contemplating giving up the crown to one of their three sons. The Elves of Brightbough work very well with their own kin and the other good races of the south. They help foster and protect Stonebridge, and many of the tribes in the Southguard Plains. They have built the Brightbough Bulwark, with both High and Wood Elf ingenuity and magic, and they are the primary defense against Exandar and the Fallen of the region. The Elf King of Brightbough Immerial Shalamair, is a kind but aged Elf, who is nearing the end of his rule. Atop his staff is the Forest Green Zayphosian Gem that was used in the Shattered Crown of Alucar. He uses it to protect his city and those in the surrounding area against the Fallen and he will bequeath it to the next ruler of Brightbough to continue the fight. For now, Althea Shalamair, the Queen of Brightbough, and the three princes, Ahvain, Lucain, and Perain work with the King to ensure the protection of the gem.
