Avar

God of the Sun, Stars, & Elements

Avar was formed as an entity with control of the four primary elements of earth, air, flame, and water. This Ancestral God of the Material can take its form from any of these elements. While Avar did create a number of creatures to fight in its behalf during the War of Gods, these were wild forms of the elements, called Elementals. Some of these creatures remain in all three of planes of the Central Realm and are regarded as very dangerous.
Another offspring of Avar comes in the form of Avarites. These were a complete accident. The first Avarites arrived when a primitive human tribe had channeled the elements through their worship of Sytys & Avar. This channeling modified their own offspring to forge humanoid beings with elemental qualities. Seeing the births as a blessing of the gods, the tribe continued the act until eventually their human beginnings were no longer present. Four new tribes emerged, one of each element in the form of Avarites. Many societies have the belief that Avarites come from an unholy copulation between demons and humans, but that is an opinion of fear. Being ostrisized for so long by societies of humans, most Avarites remain within tribes of their own kind away from the general populous.
