Gorin
Situated on the Northeast coast of Palladia, Gorin is both the coastal gateway to the country and a major trade hub. With a population of 17,000 souls, the city is always bustling. Gorin is among the wealthiest cities in the region, second only to Pellar's Peak.

Government
The city government consists of a governor as well as one city council-member per 1,000 residents.
The city is protected by the Governor's Guard Regiment Alpha, which consists of 168 soldiers.
There is an entrance tax of 7gp to enter into the city, which must be paid every time one visits. Exceptions are made for city employees, soldiers, and clergy.
Defences
The city is guarded by 168 soldiers. There are two gargantuan towers, one on the coast and one facing inland, that stand watch over the city. Atop each is a massive ballista. In addition, there are always at least two of Palladia's naval vessels in the harbour.
Industry & Trade
Sitting in the crown of the region's shipping lane, Gorin has the largest trade depot in the region. The only goods that are not traded in greatest amounts at this port are raw minerals, such as iron and copper, which are more frequently found inland.
Assets
The primary two assets of Gorin are its massive trade depot and fisheries.
Guilds and Factions
There are three prominent guilds that either have their headquarters in Gorin or have a permanent establishment there: the Order of the Arcane, the Sailor's Union, and the Merchant's Bureau.
