Goliath Rotau

The Rotau is the leader of a Goliath Clan chosen as the greatest hunter among them. They are largely ceremonial only possessing power, albeit it absolute power, in instances of lawbreaking where one goliath has either not contributed or actively sought to harm the society. They do however also possess means to permit or reject outsiders settling within the clans territory and can call on great hunts if a major prey emerges within their domain.

Qualifications

They are chosen as the greatest huntsman in the clan who uses the skull of the kill as base of their throne. Any huntsman who achieves a greater kill is then raised to the rank though the sitting Rotau is entitled to leave the clan in search of a finer prey to prove their worth.
