Imp

Imps are a low form of Devil often among the earliest forms taken by souls crafted within the Realm of Darkness. The frail winged creatures are often bullied and abused by their kin for the amusement of their superiors and serve many of the most mundane and elementary roles within the Infernal Hierarchy.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Although imps could take a range of forms dependent on their evolution within the Realm of Darkness, their most common base forms were half a metre tall and humanoid in configuration. They tended to be slender in frame coming in a large variety of colorations dependent on their level of Infernus and master within the the Infernal Hierarchy. Most imps possessed leathery, bat-like wings and their prehensile tails ended in fearsome stingers with small, sharp horns and twisted gleaming fangs.

Behaviour

Due in no small part to their position at the bottom of the Infernal Hierarchy Imps are a particularly devious and treacherous species willing to do anything to improve their position. Older Imps are often among the most cunning of all devils having chosen to maintain their weak form to trick their foes.
