Medrash

(a.k.a. Xaxas, Shuul'wah, Phquathi)

Stories tell of the great battle between Order and Chaos with Medrash the Mad, often portrayed as a crazed demon, fighting noble Tatham. Medrash is considered the anti-god to Tatham in nearly all human worship with the few exceptions treating him as a maleficent being that challenges the gods. Common belief is that Medrash and Tatham's battle is ongoing and neither can stop to speak to their followers or the other will take control. In worshiping Tatham he grows stronger and more able to overpower Medrash and one day he will finally kill the god of Chaos and spread peace and harmony across the land.
Medrash worship is forbidden in most human societies though some still worship him in secret believing he can grant true power to those he favours. Where worship of Medrash is found punishments are both legal and social with many refusing to affiliate with one that worships the chaotic one.
