Quandrix

Quandrix is one of the five colleges of University of Strixhaven. Based out of the north-east of Strixhaven the college is known for its pioneering of the study of numeromancy, the mathematical formula behind magical activity. While Numeromancyparticularlydivination, transmutation and illusion .
During the Founding the college initially remained independent refusing to take part in the newly formed University of Strixhaven until representatives of Silverquill and Lorehold demonstrated that ascension not only served the Eternal Calculus but gave them the best means to progress their own understanding of it.

Structure

Quandrix is led by the Dean of Substance and the Dean of Theory who debate the the Eternal Calculus and its guidance for the college.

Culture

The college of Quandrix is devoted at its heart to understanding the Eternal Calculus considered to be the maths behind the very nature of reality. Those within the school fall into two schools around the subject. 
The 'Greens' are led by the Dean of Substance and believe that the Eternal Calculus defines the boundaries of what is possible. They believe that by finding these boundaries we can discover what is possible to achieve granting their research and study a focus and certainty. 'Greens' tend to focus on manipulating what exists studying lay lines, altering the shape of creatures and studying the effect of spells upon each other.
The 'Blues' are led by the Dean of Theory and believe that the Eternal Calculus can be manipulated to alter reality to suit its masters interest. They work in the realm of the abstract often creating entire theses on theoretical mathematical principles before attempting a true manipulation to the Eternal Calculus. 'Blues' pushing of the boundaries of the possible allows incredible melds of illusion and truth defying what exists.
