Sserotan
Sserotan is the language of the Yuan-Ti. It is split into High Sserotan and Low Sserotan which affects not the words themselves but the manner of speech and pronunciaton.
High Sserotan is spoken as a lisping language bracketed by hisses and a stretching of the words to stress the serpentine nature of the speech. High Sserotan is primarily spoken in rituals and religious events or in addresses by the leaders of a Yuan-Ti sect.
Low Sserotan is a harsh and quick language delivered much like the strike of a snake itself. It uses few words beyond what is needed to express the message using a hiss only to denote the end of a sentence. It is spoken as the most common form of the speech especially by spies of the Yuan-Ti.
Sserotan uses the Draconic script with underlining to state sentences starts and ends. It is written top to bottom with colour being used to convey tone and subtle messages within the writing. Lighter colours convey optimism and positivity of meaning whilst darker shades suggest pessimism or negativity of meaning.
