The Ladies Three

In Baba Belsky's Book of Fables the ladies are reduced to this poem by u/breosaighead . The ladies three are old forgotten lore and you won't get any specifics from a children's' book. Its good to foreshadow them later though.

Summary

Where is my lady, the maiden fair  With eyes like stars and raven hair  There she stands in a ring of stone  Where she waits for me and me alone     Through forest and glade and wood so deep  Where truths are known and secrets keep  She begs a gift, and give I do  For never was there one so true.     Where is my lady, the cunning and bold  Whose wit does bite like winter's cold  There she stands in a ring of stone  Where she waits for me and me alone     Through hill and mountain and highest peak  Where storms rule strong and life is bleak  She begs a trial, and try I do  For never was there one so true.     Where is my lady, playful and sly  With a laugh that's light and a step that's spry  There she stands in a ring of stone  Where she waits for me and me alone Through swamp and marsh and lonely bog  Where death comes slow as a creeping fog  She begs my heart, and die I do  For never was there one so true.

Spread

The Ladies Three is an old Seroni folk story about the 'fairy guardians' that use to own the land and help its people. It's a common tale among adults and children in the land and experienced gradual spread as time progressed most notable through the Three Fairies Wines.   In the Colonial Age it was put to print in Master Osmiths Tales of the Land and became a common nursery rhyme for young children.

In Art

The Three Ladies serve as a central figure in depictions of Serona among its artists. Representations through items or characters are present in near every image of their royalty or major national events.
