The Shadow Lands

The Shadow Lands is the 'afterlife' of Gruumsh and is a heavily fogged land. Worshipers say that all in the shadowland appear as inky shadows of themselves and as they navigate can find any place they imagine that exists in the real world and make small interventions within it to help shape the path of the world such as spilling wine, tripping someone over or whispering a quiet word. Only those places that will exist can be visited and the presence of the shadow will never be known but these small interventions are said to have the potential to make huge changes to the world. 
When no more places exist for the shadows to visit it is said the fog will take them to a lone stone table upon which is a single goblet of dark red wine the consumption of which will destroy the soul and send it forth to the void. Some devoted scholars believe that if one waits at the table they may have na audience from Gruumsh themselves but there is no certainty in this.
