Hanlon

During the lead up to the Winter War and the border tension around that time, Hanlon became a large military post, seeing trade and resources flowing towards to keep up pressure on the Hastlandian defence. During the Winter War, Hanlon would see one of the earliest battles - the Disgrace at Hanlon, in which the Hastlandian force met close to an utter defeat, losing one of their titans and forcing a retreat.    Now Hanlon works as a stopping point for those travelling further north, and still functions as a minor military post - but now has demilitarised into a more suitable trading post. At its centre is the fallen titan, which lays sprawled out - most of its interior scavenged. The town snakes out from there, with large sections of it still in ruins and left abandoned.

Demographics

Mostly elvish and fey, Hanlon is filled with the standard Ilmora fair.

Government

Hanlon runs itself off a military force still. Though lessened in impact, its founding as a military post remains deeply rooted and so a general is in control of the town, running a council of other military figures.
