Red Tower
Red Tower was originally constructed by House Coldcrest in a bid to protect their lands north of the Red Iron River. A military post and watch tower, a small hamlet has formed around the base to keep it fed and supplied. Red Tower is far from the most wealthy, but it's position as a stopping point before the Bishops Bridge and the Red Iron River has made it fairly important.
Red Towers economy is based entirely off the small farms in the area, and then the military personel of whatever house is in control of it. Since its inception, the minor House Griffonborn has been in control of it. However, it was seized from Coldcrest by Stormdrake during the Autumn War. House Griffonborn split, with half of the family remaining loyal to Coldcrest and retreating to Silvermoon, forming House Faithlance. The rest remained behind, now devoted to their home - and to Stormdrake - as House Griffonborn.
