House Griffonborn
Originally from the Anvil Range, House Griffonborn was a small mining house. After defending against a demonic horde in the mountains for 2 weeks, House Coldcrest and House Griffonborn would become close, and Griffonborn would be uplifted and given command of the Red Tower, built on the other side of the river.
Griffonborn would prove themselves to be adept warriors throughout the years, surviving multiple succession wars and keeping Red Tower for years despite Stormdrakes constant prodding. It wouldn't be until the Autumn War when Vanreth was thrown into chaos that Stormdrake was able to surprise Griffonborn and take the tower from them. Stormdrake though, didn't want to waste the potential of Griffonborn and offered them a chance of an alliance. Half of House Griffonborn and the troops still alive, denied them this alliance and made an escape back into Coldcrest territory. The remained would stay with Stormdrake, not wanting to abandon the home given to them.
Griffonborn is a small and quiet house, with little political sway. But its renown warriors make them well known.
