Riverroad
Sitting at the base of The Split, Riverroad is primarily a fishing village as the area around it is too craggy for farming. Riverroad has a yearly lantern festival, sending lanterns flying over the river and out to sea one night in the summer. Riverroad is quite out of the way, with it's only path out of town leading to Duskdrift. As such, it's shipments of supplies are much less frequent. Riverroad has learned how to be much more independent, and has also become one of the last places in Requiem that news reaches.
Riverroad rarely comes up in conversation and is rather dull, however they do claim that a mythical river serpent lives within the the Split and harasses the town - the Fog Beast. But these claims have never been proven.
Demographics
The majority of Riverroad is humans, though quietly a large population of High Elves have moved in to enjoy the peace and quiet.
Government
Riverroad is run by a mayor, who is appointed by the Lord of the Hills. Riverroad also holds a small council.
