M yrefall is a small hamlet on the south-western quarter of the Astois Plateau. It remains a small, comfortable location for the older and youthful elves to reside in from inside the forests. It is, in itself a peaceful locale and welcoming place for all that find it. The defences are not rigorious, only cautionary and it is able to accomodate most kind within it's walls.
I t is known to be one of the more secluded and well-treated part of the Plateau. It is a cousin-hamlet to the Aldertooth's Captial of Nes Alora and provides homestead for many of it's older residents in retirement. Most elves that live there are above 500 years old, and happy to fashion a community of life outside the more busy and potentially stressful capital. Myrefall is also seen as an ideal locale for young elves to harbour their taste of the woods and surroundings, it acts almost as an introductory place for the natural landscape of the rest of the region. Adolescent Elves are sent to Myrefall to learn from their elders, find their footing before returning to their kin or next-of-kin in the capital or other settlements along the region.
M yrefall gained attention with it's primary feature in the heart of the hamlet being a very expensive and guarded mausoleum, named the White Light Mausoleum. This location allegedely holds the resting place for Aerith Chaefiel, a powerful champion in the early days of Aesteron.
