Ivray

Attendant of Domestication, Queen Bee, Honey Goddess

Attendant of Domestication. Goddess of horses, oxen, and other animals, as well as farmed plants. Ivray is a friend of man who has led them to the survival that they need during the Season of the Attendants. A beloved goddess, but rarely prayed to as she is not seen as a powerful Astral; many just pray to Gavela instead. Those that do pray to her will usually have a problem, such as an untameable horse, or missing cattle.

Tenets of Faith

With the aid of beasts, great things can be accomplished; though only when treated as friends.

Holidays

In preparation of Eìtear Vilas, and the feasts that come with it, people will slaughter their animals and reap the last of their farms. This is known as Eker Vilas Amail; a celebration of animal life. The animals are killed, and forgiveness is asked of Ivray such that they may feast now, rather than later. Staunch followers of Ivray detest this holiday.
