Humans
The humans of Aetherheim have a short, but storied past. They began their existence in the realm as a very noble peoples, harboring a great desire in their hearts for truth and service to the light. They went throughout the land erecting great dwellings and places of worship to the Golden Dragon, and the way of light, being one of the fastest ascending races in the realm. Many of those within the ranks of the order of the Xain knights were once human before shedding their mortal raiment to become Seraph. It was once the height of honor to be welcomed into the ranks of the Xian Knight order, the Brotherhood of Darkness was once responsible for initiating those with the calling to the life of an honored Xian knight. It fell into darkness, however, during the war against the Undead mage as he went through the human civilization convicting the many human leaders to serve him and his god. The leaders were weak, jealous, and all too easily fooled by the Undead mage and his hatred of the Xian knights and their Seraph. Thus was the begining of the fall of the human race.
