Butch Marcle , a former sergeant turned tavern owner, seeks the aid of capable adventurers. His establishment, The Hearth & Pot Tavern, has been plagued by a mysterious intruder for the past few months. Despite all security measures, something sneaks into the kitchen at night, stealing food and creating havoc.
Butch, fearing the tarnish on his tavern's reputation, offers a reward of 20 gold and free accommodations for those who can uncover and put an end to this clandestine forager.

What happened
Investigations reveal a Kobold living beneath the tavern, having created a home in an intricate tunnel system under the entire town. The kobold, separated from its clan, pilfers from various establishments, amassing a modest hoard. Its entry into Butch's kitchen is through a concealed tunnel marked by a loose stone slab. The party faces choices—eliminate the kobold, persuade it to find a new clan, or convince it to assist Butch and make amends for its thefts.Next Steps/Outcome
