Esta Troia City
Esta Troia, the Citadel of Redemption, is a place where the rugged natural environment and the resilience of its people have combined to create a unique and awe-inspiring cityscape. It is a living embodiment of the enduring spirit of mankind, where the past is etched in stone, fortified beneath the enduring glow of the Great Crystal of Earth.
The city is framed by the embrace of the Tellus Mountains, their rugged peaks and towering cliffs forming an imposing backdrop that seems to cradle the city in stone. The mountains serve as both a protective barrier and a reminder of the city's past hardships.
Towering ramparts, constructed from weathered stone and fortified with centuries of history, encircle the city like the protective arms of a guardian. These massive walls, remnants of a time when Esta Troia was a prison for the oppressed, now stand as symbols of fortitude and freedom. Watchtowers and battlements dot the walls, offering commanding views of the surrounding rocky terrain.
The city is divided into tiered districts, each ringed with mighty walls. The Heights, perched high amid rocky crags, are home to opulent residences with panoramic views of the city and the mountains. At its apex stands the imposing edifice of the Queen’s Citadel, her banners of golden yellow and black hanging from its walls, viewable for miles across the plains. Below that stands the Champions Quarter, where the bulk of Esta Troia’s arenas, and military academies are located. Next lies the Merchant’s Quarter, which buzzes with commerce and factories operated by the Shadestone Steelworks. At the base of the city, stretching for miles along the flatlands lies Old Town where the majority of common citizens live. Once the sprawling slave quarters of the Hrothgar, who were bred and raised here to serve as labor for the Summoners of Madain Sari.
Statues and monuments dedicated to the heroes of the Great Uprising and the leaders of Esta Troia's transformation can be seen dominating the battlements, inner walls, squares and plazas of the city. These serve as enduring symbols of the city's journey from oppression to freedom and the unwavering spirit of its inhabitants.
