Anatomy

Hekatonkheires are giant humanoids. They have two arms, which are in the same place as those of a human. They also have one hundred smaller arms branching out from five points on the back.

Genetics and Reproduction

Hekatonkheires reproduce sexually and are viviparous. Their gestation period is three years. 
Hekatonkheires only reproduce if one of them dies. They do so in sequence and do not seek enjoyment in doing so.

Growth Rate & Stages

Hekatonkheires grow to about 11'5" quite quickly, then growth slows dramatically until they reach their maximum height.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Hekatonkheires are omnivorous, and are quite adaptable.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Hekatonkheires are the guardians of the Principality of Tartarus, and as such, are only found there. Two defend Acheron's Gate and one defends every major Tartarean city. They never participate in offensive campaigns, nor do they leave their posts for any reason besides reproduction.

Civilization and Culture

Common Dress Code

Hekatonkheires wear bronze armor, which covers only their most vital areas, with white clothing underneath. At all times, they carry a sword and a shield, which they use with their shoulder-arms. In battle, their back-arms are armed as follows: fifty of their hands use bows, ten of them use boulders, fifteen use spears, five use swords, and twenty use shields.
