Shaitan

Basic Information

Anatomy

Shaitans are humanoid, and have horns, claws, a prehensile tail, a bestial face, a long tongue, and are covered in short fur.
A shaitan's tail has a small head on the end, which looks very similar to the shaitan's main head. The tail head contains a dormant brain. If the main brain is disconnected or destroyed, the dormant brain activates and assumes control of the body, becoming a feral shaitan. Feral shaitans are not sapient, and do not retain any of the former shaitan's memories or personality.

Genetics and Reproduction

Shaitans reproduce sexually, and are viviparous. Their gestation period is thirteen months.

Ecology and Habitats

Most shaitans live in deserts, and have a high heat tolerance.
