Shedim

Shedim are a type of Devil, and form the caste above Se’irim. Shedim are the most common type of Devil that those outside of Inferna  usually think of when Devils are mentioned. Shedim are known for their short tempers, often becoming extremely wroth as a result of relatively minor insults.
According to legend, shedim were originally created by Soneillon.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Shedim are humanoid, with scales over their entire bodies. They typically have horns on their heads.

Genetics and Reproduction

Shedim reproduce sexually, and are viviparous. The gestation period is eight months.

Ecology and Habitats

Shedim live primarily in volcanic areas, and as such have a high heat tolerance, moderate flame resistance, as well as limited resistance to direct contact with lava.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Shedim are carnivorous, and are not very adaptable.
