Wyvern

Wyverns are a type of Wyrm, related to Dragons.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Wyverns are quite similar in appearance to Dragons, but are much smaller, only have two legs, and their wings double as arms. Like Dragons, they have a connection to Nature Magic, with proficiency for fire spells. However, they aren't powerful enough to be magical patrons. Additionally, while they can take humanoid forms, they can't change completely, so these forms retain some wyvern-like physical traits.

Genetics and Reproduction

Wyverns reproduce sexually and are oviparous. Their incubation period is three years.

Wyverns tend to live near Dragons.

Wyverns are carnivorous and are somewhat adaptable.

Wyverns are typically subordinate to Dragons. Some live independently, but they are typically not well-liked by other wyverns.
