Cemetery Hill

Geography

A large hill which sits on the western outskirts of the Old Meadow district of Ashridge, the very top of which sits the Lovell House. The flatter land surrounding the hill and manor hosts a large cemetery, parts of which are lifeless and eerily quiet, the others teeming with life and no different from any of the beautiful parks in Ashridge, other than the headstones and mausoleums that are sprinkled throughout. This is the place most of the people of Ashridge will take their final rests.

Fauna & Flora

Small rodents and birds, and much of the corvid population of Ashridge happen to make their homes in the trees of this landmark. The fauna here isn’t much different than that of the rest of Ashridge, aside the ravens.
As for flora, only on and immediately around Cemetery Hill will you find Lily of the Valley growing, rarely, and exclusively on gravesites. The growth patterns of these flowers seems nearly random. One place Aezon remembers seeing these grow is in the area devoid of most other flora and fauna, on Barrett’s father’s grave.
