Morning Glory Orphanage

“I would’ve ended up here if it weren’t for my parents. According to them, I was found not too far from this building... Can’t help but wonder why I never made it there. I guess I’m thankful for that, considering who I ended up with.”

Purpose / Function

To house the parentless children of the town of Ashridge. As legend holds, some people come from very far to drop off their most unwanted children, especially of the monstrous variety.

Architecture

The building is shabby, though not falling apart. It 2 stories high with a garden unit. (3 floors)

History

Aezon isn’t too familiar with the history of the orphanage... it always gave him a bad feeling when he looked at it, at least until he and Hollowguard began aiding in the care for the children. They didn’t do direct work, but they’d donate money for repairs and for the children to have new clothes and toys. Aezon made a special bond with a certain Tiefling child kidnapped during a raid.
The building took some bad fire damage during that raid, and Aezon isn’t sure that it survived the raid that destroyed nearly half of Ashridge, as it sits on the southwestern part of town which was hit hardest during the final raid.
