Nidus (N-eye-dus)

The fear of darkness--or rather, the unknown, is common amongst mortals. Nidus is the shadow always present, watching and waiting for an opportunity to intervene and sow conflict. He is the one who tips the scales of fortune, the one who enforces mischief, and the one who aids the poor. He cares not for concepts of good or evil, as he simply revels in the drama and chaos between others. Whether that be between mortals or other deities, makes little difference to him. The way he sees it, the more chaos and trickery he puts into the world, the more fun it becomes. Even still though, he does tries to be a fair god. He will take from the world just as much as he will give, after all, he is the patron god to beggars and the less fortunate.

Piety Progression

Piety is a measure of a character's devotion to their faith. It favors those that stay faithful, and curses those that break way from the faith, unless atonement is given. Some examples of how you might earn or lose Piety with this deity can be read below. Note that earning or losing Piety often requires you to have intent doing so (but not always, as per GMs discretion).
