Daiche

Located east of Kratas , the town of Daiche is a town built around shipping. It has docks that can support a dozen T'skrang riverboats or Scavian barges at once, plus additional, smaller vehicles. The town also has over a dozen large warehouses, including one owned by the Overland Trade Company , the Dream Spire Company and several dwarf merchant houses. A few t'skrang nialls have trading houses here as well, specifically T'kambras, K'tenshin and V'strimon. The remaining warehouses are owned by Garlthik One-Eye and the Force of the Eye . Pickpocketing and burglary are common in the city, so each merchant house is responsbile for guarding its own warehouse. More violent crimes such as muggings tend to be much more rare and most of the violence in town is restricted to bar fights by the various boatmen and dockworkers in riverside taverns. There are a dozen or so waterside taverns here, such as the Fire Engine, the Broken paddlewheel, the Oar and Rope, the Rusty Hook, the Green Boatman and the Duari of Blood. These taverns don't have much lodging, but do serve passable food and drink. Beyond the docks and warehouses lies the castle of teh city mayor, Sagramon Steeltoe, a member of the Force of the Eye .
